Sequencing & Fungarium Submission Checklist

1. All specimens have an iNaturalist, Mushroom Observer, or MyCoPortal Record.
The number at the end of the URL is the tracking number that will link the sequence data with the color images and fungarium records. Examples:

2. Observations added to an iNaturalist Project or Mushroom Observer species list.
3. If using NAMP Numbers, they are included in the correct field for each record.
4. All specimens are completely dried and individually packaged and labeled.
5. Tissue has been collected for each specimen.
6. Request sequencing location.
7. Export your iNat or MO spreadsheet from your list.
8. Mail tissue samples to the sequencing lab.
9. Mail your specimens to your partner herbarium.
