Partner Herbaria / Fungaria

Below is a map and list of North American herbaria / fungaria that are willing to accept specimens from projects associated with the North American Mycoflora Project. Before you submit your Project registration, please select the fungarium you would prefer to have your specimens housed at permanately. This is often a herbarium that is close to the collection location or in the state where the majority of the collections will be made. Participants without a strong preference can have their specimens housed at the Botanical Institute of Texas (BRIT).
